Tinny Expresses Disatisfaction At Recent Media Report That He Had Tested Positive For COVID-19
Rapper Nii Addo Quaynor, better known as Tinny, has expressed disatisfaction at recent media write up that he had tested positive for the COVID-19 disease.
Speaking in an interview with Dr. Cann of Happy FM in an interview on Showbiz Xtra, Tinny expressed disappointment about how the media only focuses on negative news rather than promoting positive reports.
“When Nii Funny posted on social media that I had COVID-19, I had not spoken to any presenter or any journalist. When people call me, they inform me that the news is a breaking news on radio and TV stations.
If an artiste were to have released a new song, the media wouldn't have pushed it that far but because this is a news that tarnishes one’s image, the media is talking about it . All you do is to promote negative stuff . It is very bad”, he said.
Aletse as he is popularly called stated that media publications of he contracting Covid-19 was totally untrue and could have serious effect on his brand, which would go a long way to affect his family and close relations. Therefore the media should desist from promoting negatives about Ghanaian artistes and rather promote us positively and help grow the industry.
He further stressed on the media promoting negatives about artistes on another interview with George Quaye of Joy 99.7fm thus Showbiz A-Z, on the 4th of July 2020.
He is currently enjoying massive airplay with a new single titled "Heartbeat" which he featured U.K based artiste, M.Fly.
